Weekly Recap: Election Center in Savannah
Did you know that Savannah, Georgia was the first city to be planned and developed using the grid system? Neither did we! Last week the Printelect team visited the beautiful, historic, and very southern city of Savannah for the national Election Center conference. What a productive trip it was! Being a national conference, election officials from all over the country were able to trade best practices and learn about the latest issues and trends in elections. The sizable range of attendees also allowed us to meet new representatives from many states, show off our fresh corporate video to anyone who would listen, and demo our most popular Voter’s Choice products!
Those of us that traveled from New Bern, NC to Savannah experienced the joyous 6 1/2 hours of driving (without cruise control) that I-95 had to offer. Ben, our Election Products Manager pictured left, surprised us with his extensive lyrical knowledge of all things Justin Timberlake. Who knew?!
After a quick booth set-up Wednesday afternoon, our partner equipment manufacturer in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia, Election Systems & Software, held a lively hospitality event at Churchill’s Pub. Throughout Thursday and Friday, we were giving away our famous red Printelect bags, and hosted a social media giveaway similar to the one we did in Texas last month. The rest of the week flew by and as things wrapped up with the conference, we were back on the road to New Bern.
We are excited about the new connections we made while we were there. We had much interest in the sampling of our Voter’s Choice Elections Products that we brought. It was also great to spend time with many of our long term customers while in the wonderful surroundings of Savannah!
